Germany suffered a disappointing 4-2 defeat over Argentina in a friendly fixture this midweek, but that result wasn’t the thing that bothers Der Panzer’s head coach, Joachim Low, as he was more disappointed with how their fans treated Mario Gomez.

Gomez, who made his return to German national team after being left out from World Cup 2014 didn’t put on an impressive performance especially in front of goal as he wasted couple of goal scoring opportunities, which led to booing from some fans.

That negative reaction from supporters didn’t please Low, who believes that Gomez should be supported despite missing chances in that match as he just returned from a long term injury and hasn’t been at his best yet.

Low himself also stated that his still quite pleased with what Gomez showed as despite failing to score, the Fiorentina striker moved pretty well in that match as he did managed to get into good position.
