Dominating Serie A but failing to compete in Champions League was the story of Juventus last season, a chapter that their striker, Fernando Llorente isn’t hoping to happen again for the new season.
Speaking in a press conference ahead of Juve’s pre-season, Llorente revealed that aside from expecting another good run in Serie A, he also hoping that Biancocelesti can improve their performance in Europe.
The attacker admitted that things will definitely be more difficult for them, even in Serie A, but remain positive with his team’s chance in doing well both in Italy and Europe.
Furthermore, the Spanish international also didn’t see any concern regarding head coach Antonio Conte who only has one year contract with the club. Llorente believes that even with a short term deal, he believes Conte will continue to give his all for Juve and maybe eventually signed a new one next season.
