Liverpool Joining Lemar Chase, to Sign Naby Keita in 2018

Already securing their place in the group stage of UEFA Champions League competition this season, Liverpool are pushing hard to improve their squad in the remaining days of the market.

Reports strongly suggesting that Jurgen Klopp’s side are very keen on acquiring Thomas Lemar from Monaco with a fee potentially worth around 72 million Euro, which would be a club record signing for The Reds.

Nevertheless, nothing is done and dusted yet for the deal apparently as further news from England claiming that Tottenham Hotspur are also interested and looking to move for the player as well.

With only few days left in the summer market, this deal could potentially be one of the exciting ones to follow, notably with more than one team seemingly keen on battling for that signature.

Meanwhile, aside from Lemar, The Reds are strongly rumored to have agreed on a deal for RB Leipzig midfielder, Naby Keita, but Liverpool will only sign him in the summer of 2018, basically the season after this current new one.

A positive news indeed for Klopp’s side, although they still won’t be able to play or use Keita this season, but at least they’ve secured a target who they have been keen on acquiring since a while now.
