Liverpool Hammered West Ham to Give Joy for Klopp

Liverpool continuing their recent mini winning run as they picked up all three points on their weekend away trip to West Ham.

Facing the struggling opponent, The Reds immediately too an aggressive approach which was eventually rewarded with an opening goal from Mohamed Salah on 21 minutes.

Soon afterwards, Jurgen Klopp’s men doubled their advantage with an effort from Joel Matip, giving the Merseyside based outfit a comfortable two goals lead as they go into half time break.

The home team did manage to pull one back on 55 minutes through Manuel Lanzini, but within just a minute later Liverpool regained their two goals margin as Alex Oxlade Chamberlain scored his first goal in the Reds’ jersey.

Salah continuing his excellent performance as a new Liverpool player by netting his second and secured al three points for the visitor.

That victory temporarily put The Reds back into contention for that top four seat, a situation that pleased Klopp very much.

Moreover, the German tactician was happy that his side were able to show significant reaction in the league following their recent 4-1 defeat from Tottenham Hotspur.

Certainly Klopp will be keen on seeing more consistency from his team as that’s what they will be needing if they are to compete for that top four finish at the end of this season.
