Liverpool Drew Blanks Against Bayern, Barca Held at Lyon

A rather disappointing results occurring in Tuesday fixtures of UEFA Champions League as the two matches all ended in draws.

At Anfield, Liverpool failed to take advantage over their home court as they couldn’t break down Bayern Munich’s defense.

Both sides didn’t really have their best game, especially going forward as they seems to be lacking sharpness in the final third.

Bayern themselves also struggling to get things going in front of Liverpool’s goal, not taking advantage over Virgil Van Dijk’s absence at the back for The Reds.

Both teams continue to work hard in search for goals until the final minutes, especially the home side, but nothing changed until the final whistle was blown.

It was a pretty acceptable results for both teams, even Liverpool as even if they have to play away in the second leg.

Because of the away goals rules, should The Reds able to get a goal draw such as 1-1, 2-2, etc, Jurgen Klopp’s side will go through.

Meanwhile, Barca’s tie against Lyon also ended in similar result as neither teams were able to take their chances to score.

Both teams also pushing hard since kick off to break down each others’ defense, but nothing really works for them.

Despite their relentless efforts, neither Blaugrana or Les Gones were able to score any goals until the final whistle was blown.
