Liverpool Continue to Struggle In Their Bid for RB Leipzig’s Keita

Liverpool’s ambition to continue strengthening  their squad ahead of the new season face another stumbling block as they can’t seem to get a deal done for one of their targets, Naby Keita.

The midfielder is strongly wanted by Reds’ manager, Jurgen Klopp, but it looks like the German tactician might have to find an alternative as Keita’s current side, RB Leipzig have no intention of selling him.

Reports from the media claiming that Leipzig have rejected an offer from Klopp’s team worth 68 million Euro as the Bundesliga side strongly indicating that they have no intention in selling any of their important players this summer.

Furthermore, according to a source quoted by ESPNFC, Leipzing representative stated that won’t even keen on entering in any negotiation as keeping their stars are the club’s main objective.

Not really needing cash as they’re a financially capable team, RB Leipzig’s position is certainly difficult to crack down for the Reds’ management, so Liverpool’s chase might end up empty handed this one.

Although there’s always a possibility that the player might be pushing his way out, but it seems that it’s not he case with Keita for the time being.
