Liverpool Boss, Rodgers Disappointing With Sturridge Injury

Liverpool are gearing up for an important Premier League fixture this weekend against Aston Villa, but their manager, Brendan Rodgers is being troubled with injury issue for his main attacker, Daniel Sturridge.

Sturridge who has been tapped as The Reds’ main man up front after Luis Suarez’s departure is set to miss out for at least three weeks because of the injury he picked up during his participation in England’s Euro 2016 qualifier setup.

Rodgers voiced out his disappointment of losing Sturridge by slightly criticizing the way Three Lions were managing him, the tactician said that his attacker’s current injury could have been prevented.

Still, the former Swansea boss can’t really do anything about it for now as he must prepare other players in place of Sturridge and it looks like Mario Balotelli will be taking that main role up front for the time being.
