Light Problems Left Vallecano and Madrid on the Dark

An odd situation in La Liga occurred on Sunday when the scheduled match between Rayo Vallecano and Real Madrid had to be postponed due to floodlight failure, causing confusion for the players and fans.

According to Rayo executives, the reason for that light failure was because some cables connecting the floodlight into front of the stadium were cut. This situation forced the match to end before kick off even started as there isn’t enough time to fix things on Sunday.

Eventually, the match was moved on Monday evening and Madrid came away with all three points.
