Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup was delighted upon seeing his side picking up an important league victory over Newcastle United on Saturday. The tactician was a little bit worried that his players would lose their focus after grabbing a success in the Capital One Cup last weekend, but Laudrup concern didn’t come true.
Laudrup stated that his players played very well, especially in the first half as they dominate things and create several dangerous goal scoring chances. However, things did get tougher after the break as Newcastle improved their performance, but Swansea eventually got a reward for their effort.
