Lambert Blames Poor Refereeing Decision for Villa’s Defeat

Aston Villa failed to continue their surprise act as they suffered a 2-1 defeat against Chelsea on midweek, despite that result, Villa’s boss Paul Lambert was not disappointed with his players’ performance as he believes they already put on an excellent effort on that encounter. However, Lambert didn’t feel similar satisfaction with the officiating on that game as he slams couple of major decision which cost his team in that match.

Lambert argues that his side should have earned a spot kick in that encounter and Chelsea’s winning goal scorer, Branislav Ivanovic, should have been sent off before he even had any shot in scoring that vital effort.
