Not being considered as favorites for the upcoming 2014 World Cup in Brazil, notably because the amount of inexperience players in their squad doesn’t seem to bother England’s attacker, Adam Lallana.
The Southampton star believes that despite having several new faces, Three Lions remain competitive for this World Cup adding that those young players will add extra motivation as they’re keen on proving their worth.
Furthermore, Lallana also stated that his team won’t be shying away in targeting all three points on their opening fixture against Italy, despite Cesare Prandelli’s men are being tipped as favorite.
Lallana believes that England new faces have more than enough quality to trouble any teams, including Italy, that’s why they are not scared of pushing for maximum points next Saturday.
