Borussia Dortmund made their way into the knock out stages of UEFA Champions League after grabbing a 4-1 home win over Turkish outfit, Galatasaray on Tuesday, a result that brought nothing but joy for Jurgen Klopp.
The tactician revealed that his team deserved to win their midweek match, though Klopp also sent his praise towards Galatasaray, noting that the Turkish team put on an excellent fight.
This current success surely brought a bit ease for Klopp as he now can set his focus on improving Dortmund’s position in the Bundesliga as they haven’t been performing that well recently.
Meanwhile, Galatasaray head coach, Cesare Prandelli accepted criticism over his team’s poor result in the Champions League this time around, but the Italian insisted that doing well in that competition was never their target.
