Liverpool new manager, Jurgen Klopp is not all distracted with Steven Gerrard’s recent presence at the club as the former skipper is currently training there.
Speaking to the media ahead of his team’s League Cup game against Southampton, Klopp stated although Gerrard won’t be playing but having him in the dressing room or training ground brought many joy for other players.
The former Borussia Dortmund boss admitted that he is open with every possibility of Gerrard’s return, but for now, Klopp is just happy that the ex-England captain can have positive impact on Liverpool.
Speaking more about the game, Klopp stated that his team must not think about reaching the next round as just yet, because focusing on their opponent is much more important.
