Borussia Dortmund head coach Jurgen Klopp admitted that his team didn’t put on their best performance during their latest pre-season fixture against lower division side, Wurzburger Kickers, but the tactician revealed that he was pretty pleased considering Dortmund did play a tough match on Saturday in Super Cup against Bayern Munich.
Klopp revealed that the mission in pre-season matches are mainly to try out things and avoid injuries, so in that sense everything was pretty fine, though he was slightly disappointed knowing that Ilkay Gundogan picked up a slight injury on that friendly match.
