Liverpool picked up a 1-0 defeat on their Europa League first leg semifinal battle against Villarreal this midweek and that result was not very pleasing for The Reds’ boss,  Jurgen Klopp.

Although they still have the second leg at Anfield, Klopp was merely disappointed with the way his side was beaten as they conceded a goal in the last minutes of that tie.

Speaking to the media right after that game, Klopp expressed his disappointment with the approach that Liverpool players’ made by counter attacking in 92nd minute, which eventually led to Villarreal scoring their winner.

The German tactician considered that counter attacking decision doesn’t make much sense as it put Liverpool running short at the back.

However, aside from that last minute mistake, Klopp said he was pretty pleased with his team’s performance and believe they can turn things around at Anfield.
