England national team continue their preparation with a 1-0 friendly win over Portugal, but the main headline from that match was Roy Hodgson’s interesting setup by playing a front three of Harry Kane, Wayne Rooney and Jamie Vardy.

That trio didn’t work out well though, especially with Kane and Vardy being played wide. However, that situation doesn’t concern Kane who believes that they will eventually work things out.

Kane admitted that their partnership didn’t go as well as expected, but he believes it’s just one game so they have time to work things out before Euro 2016 officially start.

Moreover, the Tottenham Hotspur striker added his cooperation with Rooney and Vardy won’t suddenly work overnight, that’s why they must keep working things out.

Nevertheless, Kane himself still isn’t sure whether Hodgson will keep the trio when Three Lions start their Euro campaign against Russia.
