Another comeback occurred in Champions League last 16 second leg as Juventus stunned Atletico Madrid 3-0 in Turin.

The Italian giant were down 2-0 in their first leg meeting against Atleti and things didn’t look promising for Bianconeri.

However, Juve’s massive investment in signing Cristiano Ronaldo proved to be worthy and not just a gambling game, at least for this stage.

CR7 showcasing once again his goal scoring prowess as he netted  a hat -trick to lift his team over their opponent.

Ronaldo opened his scoring on 27 minutes through a header, which lasted until half time break.

Things got heated early in the second half as the former Real Madrid star grabbed his second on 49 minutes, equaling the aggregate score.

The Portuguese international finally completed his hat-trick four minutes from time after converting a penalty in such convincing manner.

That 3-0 score was more than enough to take Juve into the next stage overcoming a disappointing Atletico’s performance on the night.

Meanwhile, in another tie, Manchester City completely overwhelming their opponent, Schalke 04 as Pep Guardiola’s men rout them 7-0.

Already having a 3-2 advantage in the first leg, City were showing no mercy as they already got a 3-0 lead in the first 45 minutes.

Sergio Aguero scored a brace in that first period, while Leroy Sane added another one just before half time break.

In the second half, Man City did not stop their waves of attack and adding four more goals through Raheem Sterling, Bernardo Silva, Phil Foden and Gabriel Jesus.
