Only grabbing one point from their first two matches in World Cup 2014 campaign, Japan national are in the brink of elimination. This situation is not a comforting for the Blue Samurai players, including their star man, Shinji Kagawa.
The Manchester United play maker admitted that his team failure in picking up at least one win from their previous two matches left everyone worried, but he ensured that Japan will not give up easily.
Kagawa himself is also keen in regaining the trust of his head coach, Alberto Zaccheroni, as the Italian tactician benched the ex-Borussia Dortmund’s man during Japan’s 0-0 draw against Greece.
Refused to make a fuss about that decision, the attacking midfielder stated that he respected every decision from his coach, while adding that he didn’t play that well in those matches.
Eager to redeem himself, Kagawa promised that he will improve his game on Japan’s final group game against current group leader, Colombia.
