Graziano Pelle’s journey with Italian national team is under serious doubt following his recent incident with current Azzurri coach, Giampiero Ventura.
Pelle who was being subbed off during Italy’s 1-1 draw against Spanish didn’t look happy and venting it out by refusing to shake Ventura’s hand.
That situation apparently was not taken lightly by Italian football federation(FIGC) along with the media, resulted in a decision by the federation to exclude the striker from Azzurri’s upcoming World Cup qualifier against Macedonia.
In an official statement, FIGC stated that Pelle’s action has been considered as a disrespectful act which won’t be tolerated.
It remain to be seen whether Ventura will give another chance for the former Southampton player, who since that incidence has sent his apology via social media.
