Italy Boss, Conte Admitting Gap With Germany After Friendly Defeat

Italy national team immediately got themselves back into in their senses following a heavy 4-1 defeat by Germany in this midweek friendly encounter.

After experiencing a somewhat confidence boosting performance against Spain, Azzurri head coach, Antonio Conte, admitted that there’s still some gap that his side must bridge ahead of Euro 2016.

Conte admitted that his team’s defeat against Joachim Loew’s men showed that Italy are still need more works to catch up with the best teams.

Nevertheless, the tactician urged everyone not to get over dramatic with that defeat, just like when they shouldn’t overreact their performance when holding Spain into a 1-1 draw.

The former Juventus head coach stated that for now, he will be concentrating in seeing how his players’ performed in their clubs before deciding the best ones who can represent Azzurri for France 2016.
