Israeli League Week 16 Recap

Ending the 2012 season, thins are tight in Israeli League as two Tel Aviv based teams are battling hard to reach the top spot ahead of new year. Apparently it was Maccabi Tel Aviv that managed to top the league just ahead of 2013 after their city rival Hapoel Tel Aviv suffered a defeat on their last game against Bnei Yehuda.

In that game, Bnei scored through Adam Hrepka and Sari Falah, while Hapoel can only pulled a goal back from Eden Shrem’s header.

That defeat pretty much confirmed that Maccabi will be ending the year in first place regardless the result of their match against bottom side Hapoel Haiva.
