Iniesta Set for Barcelona Return in El Clasico

Following a disappointing 1-1 draw against Real Sociedad last weekend which also saw such an abysmal performance from Barcelona, some positive news arrived for head coach, Luis Enrique ahead of his team’s battle against Real Madrid.

Reports from Spain revealed that Barca’s skipper, Andres Iniesta has recovered and is ready to play for that upcoming weekend battle against their arch rival.

Iniesta who has been out for Barcelona’s last six games after picking up a knee ligament injury back in October apparently has recovered much earlier than expected and that news is truly something joyful for Enrique.

Barcelona’s performance has been slightly dropping following the skipper’s absence, notably in their ability to fully dictate a game  in the midfield.

However, the question regarding the Spanish international would be on how fit will he be for that El Clasico tie since playing in such big tie against Madrid can be a physical challenge, especially for someone who has just recover from a serious injury.

Nevertheless, seeing how Barcelona are in dire need of that special injection of quality in midfield, Enrique will surely hope that his captain can provide what they keen on having against Los Blancos.

Barca currently are six points behind Madrid in the La Liga standings and another negative result can see them falling even further behind their arch rival.
