Finishing second in their group, Spain have to face an intriguing draw against Italy and that tie is being expected to be a complex one said La Furia Roja midfielder, Andres Iniesta.
Speaking to the media recently, Iniesta stated that Azzurri are a strong side that will definitely cause many problems for Spain in the upcoming round of 16 encounter.
Moreover, the Barcelona star also believes Italy have improved a lot compared to when they were beaten 4-0 by Spain in their previous Euro meeting, which happened during 2012 final.
Iniesta explained that current Azzurri side under Antonio Conte have stepped up their game, notably in terms of ball handling and possession.
The match on Monday will surely be another stern test for Spain’s aspiration in defending their Euro title for the third time in a row.
After suffering a defeat against Croatia on their last group game, some questions arrived again for La Furia Roja, on whether they have really turned the page after their disastrous World Cup 2014 campaign.
