Drawing their previous two games apparently give plenty confidence for Iceland ahead of their final group fixture against Austria this Wednesday.
Both of Iceland’s joint coaches, Heimir Hallgrimson along with Lars Lagerback all are very confident with their team’s chance in advancing into the knock out stage, which can only happen should they defeat David Alaba and co.
Hallgrimson stated that they are now in an excellent situation since they have their faith in their own hands and doesn’t have to rely on other teams result to advance.
Meanwhile, Lagerback himself believes that his players will be able to step their game up for that final group tie against Austria.
Lagerback added that his team’s minus point so far is their attacking play which still need some improvements compared to other areas.
