Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a well known player who has won may titles at club level, but he will be facing different kind of test with his national side, Sweden in the upcoming Euro 2016.
Being appointed as captain for his national team, Ibrahimovic stated that he will be leading the Scandinavian with pride and honor.
The 34-year-old forward is very excited with his role as captain for Sweden in such big tournament as aside from contributing, he can also share many things for his juniors.
Ibrahimovic stated his mission aside from taking Sweden as far as possible in the competition is to share happiness, love, adrenaline, energy along with motivation to the younger players.
Furthermore, Ibrahimovic added that being able to lead his nation and potentially score for them in Euro is a great joy for him.
Sweden themselves will be facing tough opponents in France, as they’re in a group with Italy, Belgium and Ireland, three teams that Ibrahimovic highly respect.
That’s why the former AC Milan striker won’t be expecting any easy ride for Sweden, but he will surely give his all to help his team go far in that tournament.
