Guus Hiddink’s reign with Netherlands national team is set to continue after all as his side grabbed an important home win over Latvia on their latest Euro 2016 qualifier.

That result basically hold down Hiddink’s spot in the national side after he previously promised to resign from Dutch side should they picked up another defeat in their qualifying campaign.

After the 6-0 win over Latvia, Hiddink refused to talk further about his previous statement about stepping down from the national side, as he believes is not appropriate to talk about at the moment.

The tactician stated that his happy with Dutch’s victory as it’s a vital game, not only for him, but also the team in a whole as another defeat could really jeopardize their chance in advancing into Euro 2016 finals.
