Henderson Believes Competition Is Still Tight for England Euro 2016 Final Squad

The deadline date for every national team coaches to submit their final 23-men squad is getting closer, but apparently competition for places remain very tight in England national squad.

That sentiment was voiced out by Three Lions, midfielder, Jordan Henderson, who stated that at most there might only be one or two names who are safe from cut off.

Henderson himself, despite keen on getting into the final England quad selection, claimed that he won’t be devastated should he won’t be picked.

The Liverpool midfielder said if he missed out on the Euro 2016 team, he will just prepare himself for upcoming preseason with his club.

Experiencing an injury plagued season, Henderson is just happy that he can finally train and contribute well for Three Lions.

The midfielder is now simply focusing himself to get himself back into his best shape, while working hard in convincing England boss, Roy Hodgson.
