Bundesliga outfit, Wolfsburg found themselves getting beaten 2-0 by Everton on their latest Europa League group stage battle on Thursday, a result that brought plenty disappointment for the German side’s head coach, Dieter Hecking.
Speaking to the media after that defeat, Hecking stated that his disappointment was merely because of their lack of luck in that match as he believes Wolfsburg already put on a very good performance.
The tactician stated that although there’s some mistakes that they created which resulted in the two goals they conceded, but overall Wolfsburg did quite a well and didn’t deserve to get beaten.
Hecking isn’t keen on giving up their qualification chance though as he believes that they can grabbed an important result on their final game against Lille and secure qualification into the next round.
