Gyan Believes Ghana Was Unlucky Against Burkina Faso

There was nothing but disappointment felt by Ghana’s captain Asamoah Gyan as his team suffered a defeat in the Africa Cup of Nations’ semifinal against Burkina Faso on Wednesday.

Getting beaten from the penalty shoot out, tasted bitter indeed for Gyan, but he isn’t looking for excuses especially regarding the poor pitch they was playing at. The striker stated that they have experience playing in similar type of field, so it shouldn’t be used as excuse for their failure.

The striker simply believes that the luckier side won the match, since everything was decided by a penalty shoot out.
