Manchester City have just won their first trophy this season in Carabao Cup with a victory over Chelsea.
They still have three more potential titles to win this season, but with such hectic schedule and injuries, some player might be getting tired because of that.
However, Guardiola isn’t keen on making tiredness as an excuse for his side, especially if they are to fight for every remaining trophies.
“I don’t want to see excuses from players about tiredness or schedules or fixtures, that is nothing,” the Spaniard revealed.
The former Barcelona boss basically didn’t want to see his players slacking off this midweek as City will be facing West Ham United in the Premier League.
Sitting within a point behind league leader, Liverpool, Man City must keep winning if they want to retain their title.
It certainly won’t be an easy task especially for some players who played 120 minutes on Sunday against Chelsea.
However, recent injury trouble might forced Guardiola to keep playing the same players more than he would’ve like.
Sergio Aguero one of the players who must keep on playing for now until Gabriel Jesus returns from injury.
Guardiola himself is hoping that Jesus and John Stones can recover quickly as City already losing Aymeric Laporte and Fernandinho last sunday.
