Bayern Munich picked up a massive 7-1 away win over AS Roma on their latest UEFA Champions League fixture, but Bayern’s boss, Pep Guardiola, refused to believe that the big result was nothing but a fluke.
Guardiola believes that it’s very unlikely to see his side picking up similar result when both teams meet for their second match up two weeks from now in Germany as that kind of result is not something that can happen often.
The Spanish tactician do admit that his team got things right on that game, especially in stopping Miralem Pjanic along with Daniele De Rossi putting on their influence in Roma’s midfield.
Meanwhile, disappointment was definitely felt by Roma’s tactician, Rudi Garcia, who take full responsibility over that defeat, stating that his team made a wrong approach and tactics in that game.
The French tactician stated that losing to a side like Bayern is a normal thing, but getting beaten with such a huge score line is obviously not something the Italian can swallow easily.
