Former England captain, Steven Gerrard is gearing himself up for his final game wearing a Liverpool jersey at Anfield as the player will be leaving by the end of season.

Ahead of the weekend tie against Crystal Palace, Gerrard shared his feeling to the media, stating that it will definitely be an emotional day for him.

Being in the club since his first international debut, Gerrard stated that he will bow out with pride since during his time at Anfield the skipper was able to collect several important trophies.

However, the midfielder admitted that he was disappointed with his failure in winning any single Premier League titles, but it’s not something he can change at the moment.

Overall, he is happy having to live up his boyhood dream by playing at Liverpool and delighted that Reds’ fans never stop giving him strong support up till now.

In the future, although opening for a chance to work again at the club, but Gerrard will first assess what type of work that he can contribute on before accepting any offer.
