Germany’s Muller to Take a Short Break from Taking Penalties

Germany international attacker, Thomas Muller made an interesting revelation as he vowed not to take any penalties during a match for the next two weeks.

Muller seemingly stated that following his failure in converting his spot kick during a shoot out against Italy, in which Die Mannschaft won 6-5 (1-1).

The Bayern Munich star stated that he will try to work hard and improve his technique before eventually putting himself back in the mix, which Muller believes might be at least two months from now.

However, should Germany caught in another penalty shoot out, Muller stated that he won’t shy out and will still agree to take them, though he won’t be pushing for it.

Aside from missing his spot kick, the attacker also hasn’t score any goals yet during Euro 2016 tournament, a rare sight for him, who has been prolific in previous major tournaments.

Stating his mind about it, Muller stated that he will keep on trying to score goals, but for him what’s more important is to take the trophy home even if it means his not scoring at all.
