Closing into their second World Cup fixture against Ghana, Germany are being faced with defense issue as Jerome Boateng along with Mats Hummels are racing to get fit right on schedule.

According to Der Panzer’s assistant coach, Hans-Dieter Flick, there’s a positive hope that both of those players will be able to make it in time for that upcoming battle against the African side.

However, there’s a slight concern regarding Hummels as the Borussia Dortmund’s men is still doing a special training program at the moment, while Boateng can train normally with the full squad.

Being considered as starter at the back, Hummels and Boateng are pretty important for Joachim Loew’s men especially in providing that stability at the back.
