A surprising news arrived on Wednesday, December 2 as former Manchester United defender, Gary Neville has been officially appointed as new head coach of La Liga outfit, Valencia.
Following the resignation of previous manager, Nuno, who struggle to improve El Che’s results both in La Liga and Champions League, Neville eventually got the prestigious job.
Apparently, Gary’s brother, Phil Neville, who already worked as assistant at Valencia had something to do with Valencia’s in making that decision.
Gary Neville himself is currently part of England national team setup, acting as assistant coach under Roy Hodgson and reports stating that he won’t be leaving that spot as just yet.
The renowned right back was delighted with the opportunity as he expressed his joy with a statement saying how grateful he is to be given the opportunity by Valencia.
