Real Madrid’s mission in keeping their star players continue as they have now extend Gareth Bale’s contract as the Wales international signed a deal to stay at Santiago Bernebau until June 30, 2022.
That positive news was confirmed by Madrid themselves via the Spanish club’s official website, earlier this Sunday with an additional statement saying Bale will have a press conference on Monday.
This contract extension means that Bale follows the likes of Luka Modrid and Toni Kroos, who have previously signed a contract extension with Los Blancos.
Reports from the media also claiming that the new deal will also see Bale having a 500 million euro release clause, should any team are interested in prizing up the Welshman.
The former Tottenham Hotspur seemingly have been doing well at Santiago Bernebau, giving Los Blancos’ management strong confidence in keeping him much longer.
Bale’s new deal won’t be Madrid’s final extension attempt though as strong media reports also saying that Cristiano Ronaldo will be the next target for Los Blancos.
Having been punished with a transfer ban recently, Zinedine Zidane’s team won’t be allowed to dip in the transfer market, presumably from next summer market.
That’s why it’s crucial for Los Blancos to renew the contract of their important players and tie them with longer deals that will give more insurance and stability for the club.
