After spending most of his January on international duty with Ivory Coast in the Africa Cup of Nations, Didier Drogba is gearing up for another club competition challenge as he touched down in Turkey last Friday to catch up with his new side Galatasaray.
The Turkish club’s fans were very excited in welcoming the recent Champions League winner with Chelsea, as they were sitting patiently in the airport and also the main road just to catch up a glimpse of their team’s new arrival.
Drogba is the Turkish side’s second big profile signing this winter after Wesley Sneijder was also captured from Inter Milan.
