Leroy Sane was considered as one of Manchester City’s important players last season, but so far in this early part of the new season, the German international hasn’t been trusted to start any single games and was even omitted from the squad against Newcastle last weekend.
Although it’s a situation that raises some questions from many football fans, but City’s striker, Gabriel Jesus, doesn’t have much concern over it as he believes that it’s simply a warning made by Pep Guardiola towards Sane, which can happen to anyone.
Explaining his though in a recent interview with the media, Jesus stated that what is currently happened with Sane can easily be experienced by any other Man City players in the future since they do have a very strong squad.
The Brazilian believes that it’s just a warning so that everyone remain grounded and always give their all not only on the pitch but also during training session, in order to avoid not getting much playing time.
Nevertheless, Jesus himself is also not too worried with Sane as the striker believes that his teammate has the qualities to get himself back into Guardiola’s contention and eventually regain that starting role that the former Schalke’s men earned last season.
Moreover, the 21-year-old attacker also stated to the media that the season has just starting, so it’s completely normal that some players, who are fitter and performing better are getting the nod ahead of others.
