Euro 2016 Goal of the Day 8: Eder’s Goal Against Sweden

Italy sealed their ticket into Euro 2016 knock out phase following a 1-0 victory over Sweden with Eder showing up as hero for Gli Azzurri.

After a rather tight encounter, Eder finally found a way through the Blue Yellow team’s defense as he runs through pas couple of players before curling a lovely shot into the bottom corner.

That was a lovely goal as he took down Simone Zaza’s flick header and has the confidence in taking down Sweden’s defense before unleashing his unstoppable shot.

Moreover, the goal also arrived in the 88th minute, not giving much time for Erik Hamren’s men to get themselves back into that tie.

Eder’s consistency and confidence in not giving up hope despite struggling to break down Sweden’s defense throughout the game was obviously a plus point for him.
