Two England players, Jonjo Shelvey along with Jack Butland shared their views regarding Wayne Rooney’s chance in equaling or even breaking Sir Bobby Charlton’s goal scoring record for Three Lions ahead of two Euro qualifier games.
Butland stated his support, while hoping that Rooney can immediately break that goal scoring record as it will have a better impact for England.
Meanwhile, Shelvey himself praised his skipper as the nation’s best player at the moment, so for him to be in a position of breaking all time goal scoring record already speaks for himself.
The Swansea City midfielder added that he and his Three Lions teammates will surely try to help Rooney in scoring goals in the upcoming Euro qualifier games against San Marino and also Swiss.
