Deschamps Delighted With France Win Against Italy

France national team head coach, Didier Deschamps was in a joyful mood after his side picked up a 2-1 victory over Italy in a friendly on Wednesday, stating that it’s a big deal for him.

Deschamps said that beating Italy after recently holding Spain means a lot for French, who are still in a rebuilding process. However, the former Marseille coach admitted that his side were pretty poor in the first 20 minutes and it wasn’t until they conceded that Les Blues started to play better.

The tactician also praised his players, especially his substitutes who once again managed to make the difference.
