Memphis Depay might not be having the best of time during his time at Manchester United, notably this season under Jose Mourinho as the Dutchman hardly get any playing time.
However, despite of that lack of opportunities, which eventually triggered his move to Lyon this January, Depay doesn’t hold any kind of grudge towards the Portuguese manager.
Speaking to the media during his new team’s press conference, the former PSV Eindhoven men got nothing but nice words towards Mourinho.
Depay stated that he never had any bad relationship with the Special One, noting that the tactician was a great manager and person.
The winger is also thankful towards Mourinho as the former Chelsea boss has always put out nothing but positive words towards Depay.
Although having his Manchester United dream crashed out, the Dutch international is not thinking too much of it as he only wants to play and give his best for Lyon.
The 22 year old is confident with his current condition and believes that he can create a great partnership with Les Gones’ main striker, Alexandre Lacazette.
Depay’s next target is to get himself play right from the start with his new club since he already felt strong and ready to make his mark right from kick off.
