Conte Labeled N’Golo Kante as Chelsea’s Silent Leader
N’Golo Kante’s quality has received plenty acknowledgement in this past two seasons, notably with the recent PFA Player of the Year award which was received by the Frenchman.
Not only his footballing quality on the pitch, Kante himself is also being considered as a silent leader by his boss at Chelsea, Antonio Conte.
Speaking to the media in a recent press conference, the Italian tactician hailed his midfielder’s quality while stating that the Frenchman also possessed that leadership quality.
However, unlike John Terry who is very vocal, Conte believes that Kante is more of a silent leader type who leads more by example on the pitch.
Nevertheless, the former Juventus boss believes that the French international will eventually develop into more of a vocal type of player sometime in the future.
Moreover, the manager added that recent PFA award that Kante received should also boost the player’s confidence and help him develop further.
Conte continue to sent his praise towards the former Leicester City player, stating that although the 26-year-old midfielder might not be a flashy goal scoring type of player, his characteristic is important in creating a balance to any team.
Certainly a positive words of praises from the experienced tactician, who will do nothing be positive things for Kante’s progression as a player.
