Italian national side started their revival process after such disappointing World Cup 2014 campaign under new coach Antonio Conte and things are looking bright indeed for the former Juventus’ man, who looked really delighted with his first match.
Albeit only a friendly match, Italy managed to defeat Netherlands 2-0 in Bari, giving some confidence back from the fans as they’re hoping for another successful time under Conte’s guidance.
Conte himself admitted his joy with the outcome of his first game in charge of Italy, but for the tactician it was the performance that brought more joy for him as Azzurri players put on a solid display.
The tactician said that his players have done what he expected of them despite not having much time for preparation considering Italian Serie A has just started not long ago.
