Chelsea Set to Complete Morata Signing

After experiencing a rather rough early days of summer transfer, things seems to finally shaping up well for Chelsea as Antonio Conte’s side are set to acquire their new striker.

The Blues have officially confirmed they agreed terms with Real Madrid for purchasing Spanish international attacker, Alvaro Morata for an undisclosed fee, which is rumored to be around 80 million Euro.

That agreement was announced via The Premier League champion’s website, with addition that the transfer will officially be completed subject to medical along with personal agreement.

Certainly a positive news for The Blues, especially their manager, Antonio Conte, who has been left with some disappointment early on as their transfer market rather stuck for a little while.

Following the imminent departure of Diego Costa after his row with the Italian manager, The Blues have been constantly linked with new attacker and things got rather edgy for them when Manchester United suddenly snatched one of their main targets, Romelu Lukaku.

In a rather predictable switch, now Chelsea apparently snatched Morata, who has long been reported as Man United’s target this summer.

Having to know Morata for a while at Juventus, the Spaniard’s arrival might be something that Conte is really keen on as replacement for Costa this upcoming season.
