Chelsea continue to show their potential in becoming one of this season’s title contenders as Antonio Conte grabbed another victory on Saturday, this time defeating Watford 2-1.
It was not an easy contest though for The Blues as they once again have to leave it late before eventually securing all three points from that game.
Trailing through Etienne Capoue’s effort on 55 minutes, Chelsea got back on level terms with a goal from Michy Batshuayi on 80 minutes, before Diego Costa once again snatched the game winner, scoring three minutes from time.
Meanwhile, Leicester City and Arsenal still can’t get their first win this season as both teams shared the spoils this weekend, drawing 0-0 at King Power Stadium.
Losing their opening fixtures, both sides were determined in getting all three points, but until the final whistle was blown neither were able to convert any of their opportunities and eventually must settle for one point each.
