Chelsea Keep On Winning, Arsenal Crushed by West Brom
Chelsea’s path in winning English Premier League continue to look clearer as Antonio Conte’s men keep on winning as this Saturday they edged out Stoke City 2-1.
Playing away from home didn’t stop the Blues from putting on an aggressive display as they found themselves going one goal up after just 13 minutes through Willian’s effort.
However, that lead was canceled out few minutes before half time break as Stoke were rewarded a penalty kick which was converted by Jonathan Walters.
Both teams were pushing hard in search for that elusive winner, but it was The Blues that eventually earned their three points thanks to a late effort from Gary Cahill.
Scoring three minutes before the final 90 put Conte’s men in such advantage as there were not enough time for their opponent to get back on level terms.
Meanwhile, Arsenal’s woe continue as Arsene Wenger’s men fell into a disappointing 3-1 defeat away against West Bromwich Albion.
Craig Dawson’s double along with Hal Robson-Kanu goals were enough to down the Gunners as they only grabbed one from Alexis Sanchez.
Dawson opened the scoring for his side after just 12 minutes of play, but three minutes later saw his goal got canceled out by Sanchez.
After the break, it was West Brom that got off into a brighter start as they regained their advantage from Robson-Kanu, before Dawson clinched all three points with his second in the match.
