Blanc Accepted PSG’s Defeat from Barcelona

Paris Saint Germain may have their Champions League dream vanished after suffering a disappointing 3-1 home defeat from Barcelona, but without some of their main players it was a result which is far from surprising.

Although admitting that his side were disappointed with that result, PSG’s head coach, Laurent Blanc, stated that their opponent played better on that match as things could actually got worse for the French side.

Without the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Marco Verratti and Thiago Motta, PSG were struggling to hold control of that tie, allowing their opponent too much time on the ball at times.

Meanwhile, Luis Enrique was overjoyed with his team’s success as he praised Barcelona players from putting on an excellent display on the day.
