Despite carrying a 2-0 deficit ahead of their Capital One Cup 2nd leg semifinals against Swansea City this Wednesday, Chelsea interim manager Rafael Benitez remains optimistic about his team’s chances in beating their opponent and advancing into the next stage of competition.
Benitez said that judging by the Blues’ performance in the first leg, they deserved to get a better result and if his team can perform similarly only with better finishing and avoiding mistakes, good results is possible.
Furthermore, the tactician also believes it will be much difficult for Swansea to manage their game as they must chose between keeping their advantage or looking for goals to kill the tie off.
