Bayern Munich are looking to ensure the future of their star striker, Robert Lewandowki at Allianz Arena as the Bavarian reportedly keen on extending his contract.

That intention was revealed by Bayern’s CEO Karl Heinz-Rummenigge, who admitted that the club have been speaking with Lewandowski agent with the intention of giving the attacker a new deal.

Rummenigge confirmed that they have no intention of selling Lewandowski, despite recent strong link with Spanish giant, Real Madrid.

However, the CEO warned the player and his agent that Bayern are not going to pay crazy money for the Polish international’s wages.

Rummenigge claimed that his side doesn’t have the luxury of teams such as Manchester City or Paris Saint-Germain that can offer massive contracts this time around.
